Mia Spark (Maria Merritt in the default world) is an interdisciplinary artist who feels creativity as the seed of change. For her, living is the act of creation—art as resilience, expression as participation in shaping the world.

Rooted in the American Southwest, her work bridges painting, visionary art, film, metal work, movement, and community-based artivism. She explores art as prayer, storytelling as resistance, and imagination as a tool for connection.

Mia’s creative path has ebbed through film production and storytelling, live-painting at community events and festivals, exploration through installation work and overall community connection.
